How Teravia works

Quick answers about connections, collecting trips, inspiration modes, and privacy.

What does “Connect” mean?

Connect is a simple, mutual connection between two people. If you connect back to someone who connected with you, you both become connected. There are no public follower or following counts.

  • Requests: People who connected with you but aren't mutual yet. You can connect back or dismiss.
  • Disconnect: Removes your side of a connection. You can reconnect any time.
  • Privacy: Only a calm “Connections · 3” style number is shown on profiles (mutual connections only).

What does “Collect” mean?

Collect is your private way to save trips you like. Tap Collect to add a trip to your private library; tap again to remove it. We don't show public like counts or who collected a trip.

  • Your collection: A private view of trips you collected, newest first.
  • Personalization: We may use what you collect to quietly improve your suggestions.
  • Privacy: Only you can see what you collect.

Inspiration: Destination vs Journey

  • Destination mode: Enter where you're going and for how long (up to 5 days). We create a calm, day‑by‑day itinerary matched to your preferences and generate posters for the hero and each day.
  • Journey mode: Enter from, to, and days (up to 5). We map a route with meaningful stops between origin and destination, aiming for realistic routes and a consistent transport tone.
  • Notes: You can switch modes anytime. Personalization and notes highlight when active and save to your profile when you're logged in.

Other common questions

  • Who can see my connections? Only the mutual count is visible; there are no public follower or following lists.
  • Do you send notifications? No. Requests are listed in the Requests page; there are no emails or push alerts.
  • How is the feed ordered? A mix of recency and signals like connections and your private collection.
  • Can I delete my trips? Yes — on your profile (Trips · Created), use Manage → Delete selected.
  • How do I report an issue? Use Feedback from the menu or email support if available.
