Acceptable Use Policy

To keep teravia reliable and fair, users agree not to misuse the service.
Examples of prohibited behavior include:
- Breaking laws or infringing others’ rights.
- Bypassing rate limits, scraping, or bulk-downloading content or images.
- Uploading or generating illegal, hateful, or harassing content.
- Uploading or including highly sensitive personal data in trips, guides, posters, or VR assets (for example full card numbers, passport scans, medical records, or detailed home addresses of private individuals).
- Misrepresenting your age to bypass our 16+ requirement, or allowing under‑16s to use your account.
- Misrepresenting attribution or removing required credits from images where applicable.
- Reverse engineering or attempting to access non-public endpoints or data.
- Automating requests without written permission.
- Spamming or automating connection requests, or attempting to game personalization signals (connections/collections).
- Scraping or bulk-exporting files from our storage/CDN or bypassing license/attribution requirements.
- Payment abuse, including fraudulent payment methods or chargeback abuse.
- Impersonating other people or entities.
- Using AI features to generate or spread scams, deliberate disinformation, or other harmful content.
- Probing or testing system security without written permission.
Fair Use & Limits
We may throttle or block activity that degrades service quality (e.g., abusive automation). Rate-limits may vary by user status.
Licensing & Attribution
Some images and media (including VR assets and user‑uploaded photos or videos) require attribution or restrict reuse. Where we show credits, you agree to preserve them if you share or export the content. You are responsible for ensuring that your uploads comply with applicable licenses and that you have appropriate permissions for identifiable people and private property.
